How We Work
Every BuildCraft project follows a structured 8-step process — designed to give you full transparency, zero surprises, and a finished building you're proud of.
We manage every phase — so you always know where your project stands, what comes next, and exactly what it will cost.
We start by sitting down with you — in person or virtually — to understand your project vision, budget, location, and timeline. This session shapes everything that follows.
Our technical team visits the site to evaluate terrain conditions, soil stability, access, orientation, and any other factors that influence the design and structural approach.
Our architects produce detailed floor plans, elevations, 3D visualizations, and material specifications. You review and approve before any documents are finalized.
A comprehensive Bill of Quantities is produced alongside a project schedule and payment plan. You receive full cost transparency before signing the construction contract.
Our team manages the permit process — preparing and submitting all required documentation to the relevant authorities on your behalf.
Ground breaks. Our site team manages all labor, materials procurement, subcontractors, and daily operations — keeping the build on schedule and to specification.
Formal inspections are conducted at critical milestones — foundation, structural frame, MEP rough-in, and finishing — with a final snagging walkthrough before handover.
The completed project is formally handed over with full documentation — as-built drawings, warranties, maintenance manuals, and keys. Your new building is ready to use.
Answers to the things our clients ask most.
A 3–4 bedroom residential duplex typically takes between 10–18 months from design start to handover, depending on the scope, site conditions, and permit timelines. At your consultation, we provide a project-specific schedule based on your exact requirements.
Our contracts are turnkey — they include all materials, labor, site supervision, quality inspections, and project management. Permit fees and land-related costs are handled separately and clearly itemized before signing. We have no hidden fees.
Minor adjustments can be accommodated in the early construction stages, provided they don't affect structural elements already under construction. All changes are documented as formal variation orders with cost and timeline implications clearly stated before any work proceeds.
Yes. We actively work across Douala, Yaoundé, Buea, Limbe, Kribi, and Edea. For projects in these cities, our team mobilizes site supervisors and sources materials locally. Contact us to discuss your location.
Payments are milestone-based and tied to verified construction progress — never arbitrary dates. A typical schedule includes an initial mobilization payment, then stage payments at foundation completion, slab, structural frame, roofing, and finishing. The final payment is made at handover.
Let's talk about what you want to build. We'll walk you through the process, give you a realistic cost estimate, and answer every question you have — free, no obligation.
